- We have found that the extra width is a bit more user-friendly. Tapered edges slide easily under the lefse for transfer from pastry cloth to grill. Some cooks like to use two sticks, one for moving the lefse from the pastry cloth to the grill and one for turning on the grill. But what we have found works best is there is one for everybody...then there's no fighting and you can practice your sword fighting skills! Wash with warm soapy water and dry immediately.
